it comes to the earth's surface by erosion
minerals found in it are: quartz, feldspars, hornblende, micas, Tourmaline, phosphates, rare earth oxides, beryl, topaz, zircons, augite, sphene and apatite
some uses are: building, pavings, bridges, monuments, countertops, tile floors, stair treads, and many other thing
